On a long and lonesome road, west of kurla,

You can see the watchmen running behind guys who try to bunk,

You think about the mistake, you made by studying less.

But your thoughts will soon be wandering, the way they always do,

When you're attending full eight hours coz theres no way you can bunk,

You dont feel much like attending, and just wish the lecs were done.

You open your lunchbox, in no time its over,

You look for other options, but there aren't any more.

So now is the time, to enter the great canteen.

So you walk into the canteen, far off from your class,

After looking at the menu, you just try anything new.

You pretend you're still OK, but your arse wants to explode.

Companies come for placements, and you don't know what to do.

Two years are already over, and your stuck at 52,

This is when u start thinking, how to reach 62.

Later in the evening, you lie awake in bed,

With the echoes of your parents' lectures, ringing in your head.

You smoke the days last cigarette, trying to forget what they said.

Then you start your outings, on every project day,

The idea of the project's not yet sinked into your head.

Then you start thinking of getting it readymade.

Later in sem eight, your project is not in shape,

The money you had spent on it, seems to be a waste.

Then you get all scared, and just take one from the net.
